CARE

Brass

We made products with solid brass with no paint. It has a bright polish at first, the colour will gradually get darker as time goes by because of oxidisation, showing a distinctive patina. Using it with you for a long time will unveil the beauty of its maximum potential of the material.

In order to bring back the original bright polish, you may use any brass or metal cleaning products available in your country. Use a cloth to gently rub the cleaner all over your brass item. Buff the brass to a shiny finish. Clean it with dry cloth.

Leather

We made products with finest leather available. The various leathers on our products have been selected for their natural grain and uniform colour. These leather are natural and unique; any incidental tonal variations, marks or veins are natural features and should not be considered as imperfections. With time, leather takes on a natural patina that will keep its beautiful qualities if you look after it with care. Please protect it from humidity. Avoid contact with liquid, hand cream, hand sanitiser, make-up and perfume. Also avoid over exposure to direct lighting and keep it away from direct sources of heat such as radiators and the inside of a car in summer. If the surface of leather does come into contact with water or any of those substances, it should be gently dabbed with a dry, non-fluffy, light coloured absorbent cloth or protect beforehand with mild leather cream.

When exposed to sunlight and water, natural vegetable tanned leather will grow darker over time and evolve with daily use. This patina effect is natural and is what gives this type of naked leather its unique quality and character.

Wood

We made products with quality uncoated wood. Each grain pattern is a unique masterpiece of design, texture and splendour. Any incidental tonal variations, marks or veins are natural features and should be considered as its particular grain pattern and inherent beauty. With time, wood takes on a natural patina that will keep its beautiful qualities if you look after it with care. As the products are made entirely out of solid wood, it should not be exposed directly to excessive heat or moisture as this can dry out the wood and fade the colour. Avoid locating your products right next to radiators or air conditioning units, or in direct sunlight. Avoid wax or silicone spray polishes, scourers and bleaches. Simply wipe down with a soft, barely damp cloth to remove any dust. In the event of severe spillages and stains the surface can be re-sanded.
